Volunteering Sydney

More than five million Australians volunteer. Are you one of them – or would like to be one?

Pro Bono Australia is your hub for volunteering news and opportunities in Sydney.

We provide Volunteer Match for exciting volunteer work across Sydney plus tips and information for getting the most out of volunteer work.

Whether you want to work in an animal shelter or for a human rights organisation or with young people, Pro Bono Australia is your volunteering hub.

We offer VolunteerMatch, which connects skilled professional volunteers and Not for Profit organisations needing assistance. VolunteerMatch is a free service provided by Pro Bono Australia as part of our commitment to resourcing Not for Profit organisations in their work.

We have helped people across Sydney and regional Victoria match skills, including research, IT, hospitality, design, accounting, law, sales and event management, with the right not for profit group.

In addition we offer tips and advice on how to turn your volunteer work into a job, what young volunteers are after, and how volunteer work can improve your happiness and wellbeing.

Pro Bono is a major partner in the Volunteering Australia Conference and reports the latest in volunteering trends from Sydney and beyond.
