Seeks Convenor to fill Vacancy

The Wilderness Society Inc (TWS Inc) has an annual turnover of $13million and performs significant fundraising, campaigning and service support functions, towards the achievement of its goals and objectives. 

The Committee of Management’s key areas of responsibility are:

• Improving the performance of the organisation by overseeing strategy formulation and policy making;
• Ensuring compliance with the law through monitoring and self regulation; and
• Appointing the Collaborative Management Team, which forms the executive of TWS Inc.

Convenor

The Committee is looking for an experienced member to nominate for the position of Convenor who can demonstrate their ability to perform this role in our dynamic organisation.

The Convenor has an important leadership role in the organization, as well as the duty of ensuring orderly and correctly conducted meetings. Experience in risk management, governance, strategic direction or human resources will be highly regarded.
