JCI (Junior Chamber International) Whitehorse Maroondah is a community organization that offers volunteers opportunities to develop and grow through grass roots community projects while making positive impacts to the society. Current JCI Whitehorse Maroondah, with support from Monash City Council, is joining the United Nations’ fight to raise awareness across the globe about malaria and extreme poverty. Community members are invited to participate in the "Poverty & Hope" Art Exhibition in Nov at the Highway Gallery, Mt Waverley. The Art Exhibition welcomes entries from all artistic categories including photography, painting, drawing, sculpture, graphic design and more. Selected entries will be invited to participate in the 2012 artbook/calendar/greeting card production.

We require 3 Art Exhibition Coordinators to work with the Organising Committee on the event.
1. Responsibilities: Planning, marketing and promotion of the events; preparation of the community art exhibition; preparation of 2012 print production.
2. Working hours/days: Art Exhibition Coordinators are expected to have weekly contact with the project leader via meeting, email, or telephone. The project team will then report to the Organising Committee once a month.
3. Required skills/experience: A happy attitude and willing to volunteer for a good cause.
