By browsing the site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by the conditions listed below as amended from time to time.

GENERAL DISCLAIMER

Pro Bono Australia is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or any other damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this website or in reliance on the information available on the site. This includes any personal injury, business interruption, loss of use, lost data, lost profits, or any other pecuniary loss, whether in an action of contract, negligence, or other tortious action, even if Pro Bono Australia has been informed of the possibility.
Furthermore Pro Bono Australia will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under this agreement if such a delay or failure is due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

Pro Bono Australia (www.probonoaustralia.com.au) is created and controlled in Victoria, Australia. All purchases are subject to the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia, and where applicable the state of Victoria. By using this site you submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and Australia and agree that any legal action will only be commenced in these forums.

CAPACITY TO CONTRACT

Orders can only be placed with Pro Bono Australia by persons with capacity to contract, who are over the age of either 18 or 21 as legislated in your state of residence.

REVIEW OF TERMS

These terms and conditions are subject to change from time to time without notice. Past terms and conditions can be accessed on request by written notice to Pro Bono Australia. Each order or transaction will be governed by the terms and conditions in force upon the date of that transaction.

COPYRIGHT

All content on this site, including text, icons, graphics, etc are the property of Pro Bono Australia or its suppliers and advertisers and are protected by Australian and International Copyright law. No part or portion of this site may be copied, sold or used in any manner for any commercial purpose without written consent.

CONFIRMATION OF ORDER

All orders placed are subject to acceptance by Pro Bono Australia. If an order is not accepted a full refund will occur at the earliest possible convenience. Pro Bono Australia reserves the right to review job advertisements prior to publication and to withdraw without notice to the advertiser any advertisement that may in Pro Bono Australia’s view be in breach of any clause of this agreement or of any law or regulation. Pro Bono Australia also reserves the right to terminate this agreement if the advertiser posts any advertisement that may be in breach of any law or regulation. Pro Bono Australia reserves the right to, in its absolute discretion, reject or remove any advertisement from the website for any reason.

PAYMENT

Pro Bono Australia is under no obligation to publish any advertisement or to ship any goods ordered until payment for those goods has been received. In the case of payment by cheque, this would mean the clearing of funds represented by the cheque. In the event of the requested goods being unavailable Pro Bono Australia may cancel the transaction and effect a full refund.
All prices listed are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax applicable.

REFUND POLICY

We are unable to offer refunds on the advertisements that had been published. Pro Bono Australia accepts no responsibility or liability for any errors and requires that advertisers check their advertisements for errors as soon as they are placed on the website. All reasonable efforts will be undertaken to edit errors brought to Pro Bono Australia’s attention as soon as reasonably possible.
Pro Bono Australia will use all reasonable efforts to publish advertisements in the shortest possible time however it will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by an advertiser as a result of any failure or delay in listing an advertisement.

SECURITY

The security of your personal information is important to us. Your Pro Bono Australia account information is protected by a password for your privacy and security. You need to work to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer by signing off once you have finished using a shared computer.

When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number) from Pro Bono Australia  your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. 128-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion years to break, and is the industry standard.
