Not-For-Profit Accounting Specialists is a partnership between Andrea Petersen and Wendy Northey, established in 1999 after a number of years working closely together in the community sector. As the name suggests Not-For-Profit Accounting Specialists specialise in providing a full range of business and accounting services, and advice to non-profit organisations. Our client base is diverse and includes organisations in the community, cultural, recreational and private sectors. Not-For-Profit Accounting Specialists have developed a reputation in the community sector for providing a friendly, quality service, which meets the specific needs of the sector.
Examples of work
Although the business is still relatively new, our skill and experience are not, and we have already won significant contracts. The South Australian Farmers Federation contracted the business in 1999 and 2000 to conduct 70 seminars around rural South Australia to educate farmers in the new GST and PAYG legislation. SACOSS employed us to roll out Phase II of the GST implementation project for community organisations. Volunteering SA also contracted the business to conduct GST seminars around South Australia on behalf of the GST Start-Up Office.
