NSW Disability Inclusion Plan Survey
30 October 2014 at 3:33 pm

The NSW Department of Family and  Community Services is asking Not for Profits and individuals to help in the development a new plan for disability inclusion in NSW.

A short online survey is being hosted on the NSW Government’s consultation website, Have Your Say www.haveyoursay.nsw.gov.au  until 5 November 2014.

The NSW Disability Inclusion plan survey asks for feedback on the proposed actions in each of the four key focus areas:

  •  Building more liveable and accessible communities

  •  Employment and financial security

  •  Systems and processes

  •  Attitudes and behaviours

The Department says sector input will help break down the barriers that prevent people with disability accessing services and participating in the community.

For more information about the NSW Disability Inclusion plan, including a copy of the draft NSW Disability Inclusion Plan discussion paper and information about providing feedback, visit http://www.facs.nsw.gov.au/reforms
