AMP Foundation Offers $1M in Grants

The AMP Foundation is offering Australians who want to make a positive impact in the community a share in up to $1million in grants.
The Foundation’s Tomorrow Fund will be providing grants of between $10,000 and $100,000 to individuals to help cover costs such as travel, living expenses and research to kick off their “dream” projects.
The AMP Foundation said while grants were only for individuals, organisations and groups were encouraged to spread the word.
“We’re looking for Tomorrow Makers of all ages and walks of life who want to make a positive impact in our community and know how to make it happen,” the AMP Foundation said.
“Inspiring Australians from all fields of endeavour – from art to athletics, IT to the environment, youth work to social enterprise, music and more – can apply for individual grants. There are no pigeonholes, no limits to your potential!
“They could be on the cusp of becoming a sports star or taking the art world by storm. Maybe they’re a filmmaker with a story to tell or a dancer bound for Broadway? Perhaps they’re developing a travel app for people with disabilities, have an ingenious invention or want to help seniors stay active.”
Applications are open until August 31 and will be assessed by a panel of AMP employees.
Successful applicants may be asked to meet the judges in Sydney in October.
Winners of the grants will be announced at an awards dinner on November 20.
