'Big Hearts' Awards from Australia Cares

The Australia Cares 2008 Big Heart Awards were announced on Monday evening as part of an event to celebrate the growth of Melbourne Cares to becoming a national organisation, Australia Cares.

The Big Heart Awards annually recognises two individuals and two teams for their outstanding contributions in the community.

2008 winners for the Individual Award are:
- Anne Howells, Telstra
- Meagan Denison, Cadbury Schweppes
