Join one of Australia’s leading conservation organisations in this exciting position as part of the Marketing and Fundraising team. Bush Heritage Australia is a private conservation organization protecting millions of hectares of land of a high conservation value, across the country. This is thanks to our donors who support us both through our Friends of the Bush regular giving program and one-off gifts.
The Supporter Relations Officer plays a critical role in providing our supporters with a positive experience by ensuring their donations are processed in a timely manner, their details are kept up-to-date and their queries are responded to efficiently and professionally. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service to supporters on the phone, via mail and email, and by accurate and timely data entry. The key outcomes of this role include building stronger relationships between supporters and the organisation, as reflected in their increased retention and commitment, as well as keeping an up to date CRM system which is reflective of our supporters needs.
This role reports to the Supporter Relations Team Leader and collaborates directly with the Direct Marketing, Major Gifts and Bequest teams.
Key requirements for this role include the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships, a proactive approach to work with the ability to problem solve, excellent interpersonal skills and experience in the management of data and attention to detail in transaction processing with a high level of accuracy.
