Program Manager – Peer Support Program

This role requires the incumbent to demonstrate experience and expertise in the delivery of programs in the health, disability and/or community related sectors.  Experience or interest in working within disability field is vital for this position.

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Market and promote the Peer Support Program to attract volunteers;
• Establish, maintain and enhance relationships with acute and sub-acute healthcare providers;
• Have strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Deliver training to volunteers and healthcare staff;
• Manage sensitive information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality;
• Use initiative in the work place and demonstrate problem solving skills;
• Possess effective time management and organisational skills
• Prepare program reports; and,
• Have a current drivers licence.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check.
