Marketing and Events Coordinator

Heart Research Australia has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Events and Marketing specialist to grow the organisations events and digital marketing to a new level. The role will be responsible for assessing past performance, developing and delivering on improvements to the Events program.

Key Accountabilities for this position will be

• Planning & executing a calendar of fundraising events
• Delivering all activities on time and within budget
• Working with volunteers & community groups to maximise output
• Monitoring, tracking and reporting on performance
• Writing key communication pieces: eDMs, web content, social media
• Coordinating digital fundraising activities, including website redevelopment and the management of fundraising microsites

To be considered you MUST have

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Events, Marketing or Fundraising
• Strong project management experience
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management skills with an ability to prioritise tasks and work to strict deadlines
• Experience in executing digital marketing campaigns

Desirable Criteria

• Experience working with volunteers
• Experience with the administration of online fundraising portals
• Budget management experience
