Financial Controller (Part-time)

We are a large NFP based at Kariong with great growth potential. We offer an open, affirming culture, a flexible workplace and excellent remuneration package around $100K (pro rata) for the right candidate. Three days per week is envisaged. Immediate start ideal.

Reporting to the CEO, the Financial Controller’s role is primarily to

• ensure an efficient, effective and timely Management Account Preparation and Reporting System (incl consolidation of entities)
• develop the annual budget and on-going forecast systems
• develop and maintain a system for forecasting sales, profitability and cash
• meet all general accounting, statutory reporting and taxation obligations
• provide team leadership
• manage process improvement and ad hoc projects.

The successful applicant will have:

• CA/CPA qualifications
• 5+ years experience as Financial Controller, Senior Finance or Divisional Finance Manager prefer with large NFP (turnover $10m+)
• strong leadership qualities; experience in managing medium-large teams
• experience with Castaway forecasting software an advantage
• exceptional, positive and nurturing communication skills
• efficient organisational and administration skills
• excellent Microsoft skills.
