Founded in 1858, Melbourne Grammar School educates some 1,800 students from Preparatory to Year 12. It fosters excellence through learning and leadership and offers an educational experience ranging across intellectual, social, cultural, spiritual and physical pursuits.
As part of Melbourne Grammar School’s expanding philanthropic strategy in 2016, we are now seeking an experienced Communications Manager to provide expert advice on external and internal communications related to t he School’s multi-million dollar capital campaign.
Known as the Development Communications Manager internally, this newly created role will play a pivotal part at The Lodge, which is the School’s base for the Grammar community. The Lodge consists of the School’s Development Office, Alumni, Admissions, Marketing, Communications and Archives.
With a number of projects underway, including a multi-million dollar capital campaign, the Development Communications Manager will develop and oversee all campaign communications, working closely with the Director of Development to identify, build upon, and implement campaigns and opportunities that support this and other philanthropic initiatives.
This position is also responsible for the translation of the Development team’s requirements into tangible print and digital communications collateral, working with the appointed campaign agencies.
