Responsibilities will include:
- Developing key corporate partnerships across a variety of industry sectors
- Account Management – developing, growing high value relationships
- Developing partners with the goal of upgrading their giving through a variety of integrated fundraising and marketing activities.
- Identify prospects, follow up on new prospect enquiries and opportunities with the goal of converting them into corporate partnerships
- Trusts & Foundations account management and business development
- Research, identify and proactively approach new high value partnership opportunities
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify specific program funding needs
- Actively direct the sponsorship component of high profile national fundraising events and campaigns
- Implement and manage the Workplace Giving program
- Manage key third party agency relationships
- Submit compelling grant applications and proposals to grant making bodies
- Manage, research and compile annual lists of grant opportunities
- Provide reporting, analysis and manage budgets
- Manage all partnership agreements and renewals
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practice
- Contribute to the overall fundraising strategy and team
The successful applicant will be able to meet the following criteria:
- Proven track record working at similar level in either NFP or commercial industry
- Superior presentation, communication, influencing and negotiation skills
- Appropriate degree qualifications
- Strong relationship building skills
- Commercially savvy, energetic business development style and approach
- Well organised, excellent time management and deadline driven
- Excellent networking skills
- Competent, confident and displays high work ethic
- Able to confidently build rapport across all levels of the community
- Able to act autonomously as well as work as part of a high performing team
