Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing key corporate partnerships across a variety of industry sectors
  • Account Management – developing, growing high value relationships
  • Developing partners with the goal of upgrading their giving through a variety of integrated fundraising and marketing activities.
  • Identify prospects, follow up on new prospect enquiries and opportunities with the goal of converting them into corporate partnerships
  • Trusts & Foundations account management and business development
  • Research, identify and proactively approach new high value partnership opportunities
  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify specific program funding needs
  • Actively direct the sponsorship component of high profile national fundraising events and campaigns
  • Implement and manage the Workplace Giving program
  • Manage key third party agency relationships
  • Submit compelling grant applications and proposals to grant making bodies
  • Manage, research and compile annual lists of grant opportunities
  • Provide reporting, analysis and manage budgets
  • Manage all partnership agreements and renewals
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practice
  • Contribute to the overall fundraising strategy and team

The successful applicant will be able to meet the following criteria:

  • Proven track record working at similar level in either NFP or commercial industry
  • Superior presentation, communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Appropriate degree qualifications
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Commercially savvy, energetic business development style and approach
  • Well organised, excellent time management and deadline driven
  • Excellent networking skills
  • Competent, confident and displays high work ethic
  • Able to confidently build rapport across all levels of the community
  • Able to act autonomously as well as work as part of a high performing team
