AMES Australia works with refugees and newly arrived migrants providing government contracted humanitarian settlement, education, training and employment services to around 45,000 clients a year. Reporting to the CEO, as Chief Digital Officer you will work with a team of around 20 to lead innovation within AMES Australia across all its services through clever use of technology and communication strategies. Part of the senior executive team, the role is integral to the whole business and directly responsible for the information technology, knowledge management and communications teams.
To be considered for the opportunity candidates will need to be innovative leaders with high levels of energy and drive and attributes including:
- Sophisticated understanding of the organisational application of digital technologies in building and providing excellent client services.
- Significant senior level experience leading digital and communications strategy across a large and geographically dispersed organisation
- Demonstrated senior leadership experience in a diverse, large and complex organisation, with an appreciation of the challenges operating in a dynamic public sector environment
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders
- Understanding and commitment to the drivers of AMES Australia services.
