We are seeking a highly skilled Adaptive Technology Specialist to join our multi-disciplinary team in Maroochydore.
The primary purpose of this position is the provision of high-quality Access Technology services, including assessment, training and support to empower Vision Australia clients to take advantage of available Technology to help them achieve the possibilities they choose in life.
The successful applicant will utilise their specialist knowledge and skills to work as part of a transdisciplinary team that provides assessment, training, intervention strategies, service coordination and support for clients who are blind or have low vision. The successful applicant must have a degree level qualification relevant to the delivery of Access Technology services and/or extensive experience in the provision of technology support and training for people that are blind or have low vision. In addition a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable.
