An experienced Community Worker is required for the Stroke Recovery Association located at Ryde.
The position will involve working with existing and developing new Stroke Support Groups throughout NSW, liaising with Government and Community Agencies and promoting the Association with a special focus on stroke awareness.
Qualifications in a Social Sciences Degree or equivalent: experience in working with disability related services; commitment to the rights of people with disabilities, experience in the Government or Community sector and the ability to work as a member of a team, experience with small group presentation; computer literate and own car are essential.
