About the role

This newly created role is a great opportunity to develop and implement a whole of organization quality framework that is in line with the Nazareth Way, Aged Care Legislation and Accreditation requirements.

Nazareth Care Australasia is the business arm of the Congregation of the Sisters of Nazareth and encompasses five residential aged care houses and independent living services across Australia and New Zealand. All services are interdominational and are based on the ethos of the Sisters of Nazareth; in their culture, attitudes and actions, in their quality of services, and business practices. The Nazareth Way promotes relationships that are focused on collaboration and cooperation, that foster team work and their core values of Love, Compassion, Patience, Justice, Respect and Hospitality.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Regional Quality Manager will be responsible for leading the quality agenda and promoting a culture of evaluation, evidence based practice and continuous improvement across the business. You will motivate and inspire staff to further enhance the person centred approach and excellence in their practice and resident care. In addition you will present with the following;

  • A solid understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Compliance
  • The ability to facilitate change and implement an effective quality management system
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • A strong understanding of Quality frameworks, Continuous Improvement and Risk management
  • Highly developed project management skills and ability to meet agreed deadlines
  • Prior achievements leading successful Accreditation processes
  • A Tertiary Degree in a relevant discipline

Critical to your success in this position, is your ability to build effective relationships across the business and your innate ability to gain ‘buy-in’ of all key stakeholders. Please note that interstate travel is required for this position.
