Learning and Development Assistant

Due to an internal promotion we are now recruiting for a Learning and Development Assistant.

We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic person who has that can do attitude, is optimistic and eternally vigilant and has a keen interest in providing administrative assistance in the areas of resource development and leadership programs and initiatives.

This position reports to the Learning and Development Manager and will have a unique opportunity provide administrative support to the Learning and Development team who work on nationally significant education and leadership projects and programs.

We are looking for a self-motivated administrator who has a passion for learning and development and has;

• Demonstrated office administration and project coordination skills with the ability to show initiative and exercise a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to understand SLS philosophies, principles, activities, programs, procedures, services.
• Ability to assist in the implementation of national initiatives such as the SLS Leadership College and also assist with the development and review of national resources.
• Well-developed written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the capability to develop stakeholder relationships.
