About your team
The Prospect Development unit has overall responsibility for major gift prospect identification and research in support of the campus wide fundraising goals and objectives and plays a key role in the current capital campaign.
About you
You may come from a different background (such as journalism, marketing or librarian, among others) that has allowed you to develop transferable skills which are suited for the role. To be successful in this position, however, it is critical that you possess the following:
- A passion for philanthropy
- Considerable relevant exploratory research or business intelligence experience, or both
- Ability to review, interpret and synthesize a large volume of data into meaningful and useful information for prospect intelligence purposes
- Capacity to undertake analytics and report on findings
- Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills
- Proven ability to write reports and presentation notes
- Proven ability to work as an effective member of a team through positive participation and communication

With your talent in data mining, analytics, and online research, you will identify our future prospective major donors, who will enable our students, researchers and community to pursue their dreams. You will also work alongside our major gift fundraisers, shaping their portfolios and enabling them to achieve success.
