Executive Project Coordinator

Yarra Community Housing Ltd (YCH) is Victoria’s largest provider of community housing. YCH is an independent, not-for-profit organisation with a focus on developing and managing a range of innovative housing and support solutions for low income single persons and families – particularly those with a background of homelessness.

In November 2015, YCH merged with Urban Communities Limited. Until 2017, the two entities will continue to operate as separate entities, giving the opportunity to work out the best way to maximise the strengths of both organisations when combining operations.

About the role:
You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the Executive Team to co-ordinate a range of strategic and operational projects including:

• Development of the next Strategic Plan
• Identification and response to tender opportunities
• Identification, relationship building and response to funding opportunities.

About you:

You will be a tertiary educated community services professional with project management experience and a proven track record of developing high level planning and submission documents. You will have the ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terms, and excellent stakeholder management skills. You will also be a high energy person with a genuine commitment to social justice and a desire to assist with the development of YCH.

On offer:
This is a 12 month fulltime contract. The remuneration package includes a base salary commensurate with experience. In addition YCH is also able to package part of the base salary in the form of tax exempt fringe benefits. YCH provides a flexible, supportive and family friendly work environment including 5 weeks annual leave.
