Accommodation Manager- Disability Services

• Manage service delivery and programs with a strong client focus

The Organisation

Sunnyhaven Disability Services offers a range of Accommodation, Early Intervention and Day program options for people with a disability. Sunnyhaven has been in existence for over 65 years, providing individualised services for people living with a disability helping them to grow, thrive and be assisted to build on their strengths.

The Role

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead a team of support professionals and provide effective staff management in four supported home accommodation services. You will ensure the activities of the service are operated effectively whilst supporting further development and promoting a quality person centred culture. Specifically you will also be responsible for;

• Following budgets, business plans and completing rostering to maximise service delivery.

• Ensuring individual care needs are met.

• Managing and coaching staff whilst supporting them to deliver excellence.

Skills Required

You have relevant qualifications and experience in managing multiple services within a community sector environment. You have also developed;

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
An ability to network with government and other relevant stakeholders.
Knowledge of the NDIS and the ways it can be implemented.
A positive practice approach within a supported accommodation environment.
Relevant probity checks, first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain) and NSW driver’s licence are also mandatory requirements for this role.
