Housing Plus is the leading Tier One community housing organisation operating across Western NSW, their vision is for safe, healthy and connected communities by providing opportunity for individuals experiencing homelessness or domestic violence to overcome barriers and thrive.

Based in Orange, NSW they have been providing affordable housing solutions and support services for people in need for over 30 years and act as a key community anchor in the regions and neighbourhoods where they operate.

As part of their growth strategy they have created a full time, permanent opportunity for an experienced Asset & Development Manager to join their Senior Leadership Team and be a key part of the future success story.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer you will be responsible for the management and delivery of compliance and best practice for the Assets and Development business unit by building and leading a cohesive and responsive team through a Strategic Asset Management Framework including the maintenance, repair and disposal of property assets supporting the strategic objectives of the organisation to ensure that the high quality asset services for clients are continuously maintained.

In addition strong commercial acumen and project management skills will be required in order to play a key role in property development projects, taking responsibility for contract management, contractor management and project management from implementation to completion.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Property Development, Business Management or Urban Planning, with significant operational and strategic management experience from within the Community Housing sector.

In addition you will work closely with the Tenancy Services, Community Engagement, Community and Client Programs Regional Manager's and Executive Team to ensure consistency of standards and the reinforcement of the organisations mission, values, objectives and expectations to all stakeholders.
