The Heathcote Cultural Precinct was chosen because of its historical value and to highlight and promote the progress of mental health in Western Australia. It also provides an idyllic view of the river and the City of Perth. The function is to be held on Sunday October 24 from 3 – 5 pm. The project has been in the planning since February 2010 and is coordinated through a staff volunteer committee of 8 people, including two Service Users as representatives. The project is managed and overseen by a full time staff member in Administration.
