Peter Dalton FFIA CFRE
Director, fundraisingfutures
“Transformational gifts can transform institutions, their boards and management structures and leverage increased investment in the development function … but the best model for transformational change is to invest in institutional cultural change that leads to perpetual transformational gifts and enhanced donor Life Time Value.
In practice NFP institutions are not competing for philanthropic support; there’s no shortage of unrealised philanthropy in Australia. A competitive edge is gained however by embeding a philanthropic/fundraising organisational culture, driven by the fundraising development team and championed by the non profit board and executive.”
Perhaps best recognised for leading high profile capital campaigns in Australia and internationally, Peter strategically value adds to signature campaigns by implementing transformational Total Development fundraising Programs for the institutions he serves.
Peter has provided bespoke fundraising counsel across the non-profit sector – in health, welfare, the arts, environment, education, religious, sport and recreation, and political organisations. As well as to business, academic and cultural leaders, and entertainment icons.
Peter is a former FIA National Chairman, passionate environmentalist and Al Gore trained Climate Reality Leader. He was recently appointed Chairman, The Outback Spirit Foundation.
He is Director of fundraisingfutures and an Associate of the international emotional fundraising training group Revolutionise.
