This AHURI Housing Research Seminar will present the findings from two new AHURI research projects - Other countries' policy initiatives to meet the housing needs of asset-poor older persons: implications for Australia by Professor Gavin Wood (AHURI RMIT Research Centre) and Housing, public policy and social inclusion by Professor Kath Hulse (AHURI Swinburne-Monash Research Centre).
Following the research presentations, Dr Alex Dordevic (Manager, Housing Framework, Department of Human Services, Victoria) will comment on the policy and practice implications of the new findings.
The seminar will close with a group discussion and Q&A facilitated by Dr Lauren Costello (Director, Research Synthesis Service, AHURI Limited).
