Dr Jackson Katz is one of America's leading anti-sexist male activists, internationally recognized for his groundbreaking work in the field of gender violence prevention education with men and boys.
As the creator of the educational video: 'Tough Guise: Violence, Media and the Crisis in Masculinity', Dr Katz will be exploring this subject as a panellist, brought to you by White Ribbon, Sydney Women’s Fund and Victorian Women's Trust.
White Ribbon Ambassadors Peter FitzSimons AM and Dan Gregory will be joining Dr Katz as part of the panel discussion. Peter is a prominent author, journalist and former national representative rugby union player.
Dan is a leader in the field of marketing and advertising and is a regular on ABC Tv's 'The Gruen Transfer'.
Linda Mottram, presenter of ABC Radio’s 702 Mornings and one of the ABC’s most respected journalists, will be facilitating the discussion.
This event aims to provide a professional development opportunity for White Ribbon Ambassadors and supporters of the anti-violence movement in an interactive setting.
