It is going to be an amazing experience!
Did you know that One in Five Victorians has a disability and of that One in five, Women with disability experience further disadvantage due to gender inequality.
Now think about living in a society that does not share the same privileges as we, add a disability coupled with being a women and you will begin to understand why Disability Sport and Recreation’s CyclePower will embark on a unique cycling adventure through Cambodia in June 2012.
It’s time to break the cycle of disadvantage at home and abroad and it can all start with one pedal, one push, one common goal to increase awareness and much needed support to create a level playing field for women with disability.
If it’s your goal to get fit, make new friends or travel in 2012 , all whilst supporting a worthy cause then this trip is for you.
