Come along to the Clever Ideas Forum and hear more about what can be achieved by engaging skilled volunteers in your community organisation, including how to get started and tips on how to ensure the best outcomes.
- Hear success stories from skilled volunteers, community organisation workers and skilled volunteer brokers.
- Learn to define projects, write volunteer position descriptions and maintain effective communication for successful projects.
- Discuss your clever idea with skilled volunteer brokers who can assist your organisation to access an appropriate skilled volunteer.
- Hear about current community sector issues, volunteering issues and legal issues when working with volunteers.
- Get the booklet ‘Skilled Volunteers: A Guide for Community Organisations’.
Participating organisations will include goodcompany, GreatConnections, Leadership Victoria, Monash University, PilchConnect, Pro Bono Australia, Skillshare and Volunteering Victoria.
