Voices of Art 2

The evening will commence with a welcome address by Dr Gene Sherman AM, director of the Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation (SCAF) and Voiceless Council chair, who will serve as MC.

Acclaimed designer, Akira Isogawa, will formally open the event and introduce long-time supporter and Voiceless friend, Clover Moore MP, Lord Mayor of Sydney, who will draw the prizes.

Entertainment for the evening will be provided by Voiceless Council member Holly Throsby and The Hello Tigers. The twice ARIA nominated singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist recently released her acclaimed new album, Team, which was featured as album of the week on Radio National. Holly and The Hello Tigers will entertain us in the intimate surrounds of the SCAF zen garden.

Canapés and refreshments will be served throughout the evening.

Prizes will be drawn at the event from 7pm.

All ticket holders are invited to attend Voices of Art.

Gold ticket holders have a chance to win a portrait by four-time Archibald Prize finalist, Adam Chang, valued at $20,000.  Adam is a Shanghai-born contemporary painter.  The portrait subject will be determined in consultation between the winner and the artist.

Silver ticket holders will each receive a designed. signed, and limited edition Akira Isogawa scarf.  Each scarf has been created specifically for Voices of Art.

Bronze ticket holders will have the opportunity to enter a draw to win one of the following ten ‘experience and indulgence’ prizes:

• Two Salon266 hair treatment vouchers valued at $150 each.  Salon 266 is located in Darlinghurst, Sydney. 
• Three ten-pass booklets to Event Cinemas valued at $120 each.  Event Cinemas is the complete entertainment experience with a selection of venues across the country. 
• A dining experience for two at The Village Restaurant in Darlinghurst valued at $240.  Village Restaurant is a Modern Australian restaurant with a homestead style ambience.
• Four mixed half dozens of wine valued at $150 each from buywineonline.  A wide selection of wines is available direct from vineyard and cellar door.

Please bring your hard-copy ticket with you on the night as it contains your unique supporter code and will connect you (by number) to your raffle ticket for the prize draws to be conducted by Lord Mayor Clover Moore MP.
