VCOSS Clearinghouse Rural & Regional Training2011 – REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN!

The VCOSS Clearinghouse 2011 Rural and Regional Training Program is now open for registrations.

The Rural and Regional Training program will be delivered across the state with sessions run in Hume, Loddon Mallee, Gippsland, Barwon South West, Grampians and Melbourne.

The program will deliver 40 face to face training sessions for staff and volunteers from the Victorian community sector.

This is a not to be missed opportunity to access training by highly qualified trainers who have extensive experience working with community organisations.

The program includes:

  1. Roles, Responsibilities, Liabilities & Protections of Committees and Board Memberspresented by PilchConnect
  2. Grant Writingpresented by Philanthropy Australia
  3. Strategic Planningpresented by Matrix on Board
  4. Disagreements, disputes and all-out war: Strategies for dealing with conflict in boards and committeespresented by Pathways Australia
  5. Making sense of financial statementspresented by Matrix on Board
  6. Getting to Know Philanthropycoordinated by Philanthropy Australia

Cost: $40 per participant or $20 for VCOSS members
Fees can be waived for organisations unable to pay.
