Community heART day

YOU are Invited to our Community HeART Day! 

 

Please come along to join together our creativity and bring some HeART to our local community.

 

Art Supplies, guest artist spot from Jungle Phillips and BBQ lunch provided (for a gold coin

donation), All ages welcome and no art experience required!

Wanting to bring some colour and life to a local desolate space, an inspired group of com-munity members in Wellington, NZ joined forces with a group called ’Outdoor Knit’. Together they wove colourful hearts on the outside of local chain wire fencing (see pictures overleaf: http://outdoorknit.blogspot.com). We have been inspired by their story and want to create some (He)ART of our own- and we would love you to be a part of it!

 

All you need to do is come along to the MarionLIFE Community Garden with your creative ideas (no experience necessary and we welcome all ages!). We will supply the ugly fence, wool and string, paints, brushes and mdf boards, as well as a BBQ lunch for a gold coin donation.

 

Why not come along and help reinvent a barren site?! You will be contributing to the culture of MarionLIFE Community Services by brightening it’s space, adding to it’s community garden and joining together with other people from the community to have some colourful fun!
