Chatterbox Program

A conference about community conversations, education and partnerships

 

Chisholm Institute’s Centre for Integrated Health and Community Well-being is proudly presenting a conference titled Chatterbox: community conversations, education and partnerships.

This conference will provide an opportunity for students, educators, professionals, volunteers and others interested to explore contemporary trends and issues surrounding welfare, mental health, children, youth and aged care, indigenous health, sport, recreation, fitness and leisure, disability, nursing, as well as social justice pursuits in the broader community.

Conference themes relate to community based practice including:
• Social inclusion
• Mental health
• Children, youth and families
• Education and training

Professor Patrick McGorry will officially launch the newly accredited Bachelor of Community Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs at the conference.  Our keynote speakers include Robyn Miller, Professor Patrick McGorry, Basil Varghese and Professor Alasdair Vance.
