Call for Nominations :FUTURE JUSTICE PRIZE 2010

Nominations are now being called for the Future Justice Prize 2010, which recognises Australian individuals or organizations for leadership and initiative in the advancement of future justice.

 

FUTURE JUSTICE PRIZE 2010
Nominations are now being called for the Future Justice Prize 2010, which
recognises Australian individuals or organizations for leadership and initiative
in the advancement of future justice. Future justice is concerned with what
those living today leave behind for future generations.
The Future Justice Prize is awarded for research, publications, projects or
programs in various categories. These include; Human Rights, Indigenous, Health,
Environment, Climate Change, Population & Intergenerational Debt.
Nominations should include detailed information about the nominee’s future
justice activities together with the name and contact details of the nominator and nominee. Nominations for the 2010 Future Justice Prize close on 30 September.
 
Selection of the Future Justice Prize recipient/s is the responsibility of the FutureJustice Executive – Professor Peter Doherty AC, Justice Susan Kenny, Ms Alison King, Dr Helen Sykes AM and Professor Spencer Zifcak.
 
Future Justice is a joint initiative of Future Leaders and the Institute of Legal
Studies. It takes as its starting point the UNESCO ‘Declaration on the
Responsibilities of the Present Generations Towards Future Generations’
