Retired Pharmacists' Group meeting 3/2010
Are you a retired or semi retired pharmacist looking for the opportunity to engage with other pharmacists, remain informed on the development and direction of the faculty and the pharmacy profession and participate in a range of interesting and informative activities? If you are, you are welcome to attend the Retired Pharmacists’ Group which meets monthly and features informative presentations on topical issues by prominent guest speakers. Guest Speaker: Jo-Anne Rumpff
Topic: Pharmacy Practice in the Defence Forces
At the April RPG meeting, guest speaker Jo-Anne Rumpff will discuss the role of pharmacists in the Australian Defence Forces. Jo-Anne has over 20 years of experience working in pharmacy in the Australian Defence Forces and was instrumental in the development and implementation of the Guidelines for the Management of ADF Pharmacies. Jo-Anne will discuss what sets military pharmacy apart from retail and hospital pharmacy, the variety of rules and regulations that apply and her own experiences as a pharmacist in the ADF.
