Stephen Wiltshire has been invited by Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) to coincide with Autism Month. Stephen is an internationally renowned artist who draws and paints detailed cityscapes. He has a particular talent for drawing lifelike, accurate representations of cities, sometimes after having only observed them briefly.
Aspect builds confidence and capacity in people who are on the autism spectrum, their families and communities, by providing information, education and other services.The public is invited to watch Stephen at work, and to see a collection of his earlier works on display at Customs House, Circular Quay in Sydney, from 19 to 24 April 2010.
Stephen will be the guest speaker at the Annual Autism Recognition Awards on the evening of 22 April.
