APCSIP at Swinburne University of Technology and Oxfam Australia are working together to help inform and inspire Melbourne’s philanthropic community to become more engaged and make more effective social investments with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Many philanthropists perceive Indigenous funding as ‘too hard’, may feel out of their depth when approached to fund projects and/or find it difficult to keep up with the changing face of Indigenous politics.
The program will feature practitioners working at the interface between philanthropy and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
The program features both a workshop and a lunch with a guest speaker. Participants can choose to attend either or both sessions.
