Mission / Objective

Whitelion Inc. is a non-profit organisation established in 1999 to address the needs of young people within the Juvenile Justice system in Victoria and Tasmania. Whitelion's mission is to connect disadvantaged young people with life-changing opportunities, motivating experiences and valued relationships by providing role modelling, mentoring, employment and other support programs within the juvenile justice system and post-release, and through preventative programs in the broader community.

Projects in Progress

Whitelion aims to break the cycle of substance abuse, criminal activities, marginalisation and incarceration by empowering and inspiring young people through opportunities, positive relationships and community connections. The success of these programs is dependant on the involvement of businesses and individuals as mentors, employers and financial and in-kind supporters of Whitelion.
