Mission / Objective

Warramunda Village Inc, an independent, community owned aged care aims to provide a quality lifestyle for each resident, in keeping with their personal, social, cultural and spiritual needs. Our residents come first. We value their individuality and rights according them respect, dignity and understanding. We value our team - staff, volunteers, relatives and members of the community. We value the environment and continue to maintain and develop our buildings, surrounds and infrastructure so they continue to meet our changing needs. Commitment to enhancing and developing partnerships and collaboration with Government and community, Warramunda acknowledges its dependence on and responsibility to them.

Projects in Progress

Currently raising funds to meet a shortfall of $900,00 for a recently completed secure dementia care wing and creation of a sensory garden for resident enjoyment. This wing increases accommodation from 47 to 59 permanent and 2 respite beds. Further initiative is raising funds for purchase of a bus to transport residents to appointments, shopping and outings. The 11-seater bus, purchased in 1993, is ageing and not large enough to accommodate additional residents. With no public transport other than a taxi for the rural town of Kyabram, a new bus is vital to transport our frail and wheelchair dependent residents.
