The services we offer range from specialist education and early childhood intervention for children with disabilities or developmental delays, to community based and in-home support services for older people and people with a disability, carer respite options and residential aged care.

Projects in Progress
There are many projects running concurrently across our disability, education and senior service areas. Examples include:
Children's Respite Services - Villa Maria provides facility and community based respite support to hundreds of families across metropolitan Melbourne. Providing a rest for families and a safe, friendly and fun environment for children with disabilities is essential. Without it, many families simply couldn't manage. To continue to provide this essential support, Villa Maria needs to raise over $250,000 so we can undertake urgent upgrades of the bathroom, living and play areas at some of the children's respite houses. Without these upgrades, we will struggle to meet the future needs of the children and families who rely on our services.
Sensory Gardens - An initiative across Villa Maria's community respite and residential aged care services to better support people living with dementia by creating living environments to stimulate the senses, alleviate symptoms and improve quality of life.
Save Me a Seat - Make their day, help children get to school in 2012 so they can learn and play...For many students, getting to school each day is easy. For children with disabilties and their families, it can be a real physical and emotional struggle. Without Villa Maria's chaperoned daily bus service, many children wouldn't be able to get to Villa Maria's specialist school to access the vital educational and therapy services that will enable them to reach their full life potential. This is a vital but unfunded service, costing Villa Maria over $200,000 a year to operate. We urgently need individuals or companies from the community to sponsor a child's seat on the bus.
