Mission / Objective

Uniting Care Burnside is dedicated to the protection of in crisis and at risk children young people. We work to break the cycle of disadvantage for vulnerable children, young people and families throughout NSW. Burnside's services span the full continium of care; that is, we provide early intervention and support for children and young people which can be from infancy until their mid 20s and for those who cannot live with their birth families. Our programs and services seek to bring about positive change in the lives of families within disadvantaged communities by supporting them to parent and care for each other well. We help build healthy family relationships, encouraging positive change through education and learning and build strong connected communities to break the cycle of poverty and neglect.
