Mission / Objective

TEAR's mission is to engage Australian Christians in God's work of justice and compassion, thereby demonstrating the gospel which is, indeed, good news to the poor.

Projects in Progress

TEAR Australia supports more than 85 indigenous organisations based in poor countries across Asia, east Africa and the Pacific. In partnership, they respond to the basic needs of suffering and vulnerable people. Projects focus on food security, agriculture, employment, income, education, water supply, sanitation, health, housing, village infrastructure, peace, human rights, and meaningful participation in society.
