Retina Australia (VIC) Inc.

Retina Australia Victoria supports its members to come to terms with their diagnosis and subsequent vision loss due to varying debilitating retinal diseases. We also provide information for sufferers and their families and raise money to support research which will hopefully find a cure or treatment for all retinal diseases in due course. The majority of our members were born fully sighted and diagnosed with retinal disease at some later stage in their life, the majority during their teenage years or early adulthood. Currently world-wide research is indicating that treatments for some forms of retinal disease will be available within ten years and with further financial support cures may soon follow.
