Services
Resthaven provides care and support for elderly South Australians at many locations across the state.
Optimum care is provided through a varied approach:
- Community Services are available for older people and their carers within the community
- Residential Services are available for older people who require ongoing care within an aged care facility
- Respite is available for carers to plan a rest/break so they may maintain their own physical and emotional health
- Lifestyle Choices Plus is flexible, individual support on a fee for service basis. There are no waiting lists and the choice of services is yours.
- Specialised Services are benchmarked with evidence based best practice locally, nationally and internationally. These are Resthaven's areas of specialty within our person centered care and support framework.

Volunteering
Volunteering has been at the heart of Resthaven from the very
beginning– the dream and vision that started in 1935.
The first practical outcome occurred when Mrs Annie Pearce and Reverend
John Pearce took an elderly lady into their care at their home.
Resthaven volunteers are integral to providing services for residents and
clients. They make a real difference in providing that extra level of care
and support. Resthaven acknowledges and values the skills, knowledge,
time and commitment of volunteers. Volunteers contribute to the achievement of Resthaven’s vision and mission in providing support that promotes independence, community involvement, dignity and integrity.
