Public Education Foundation Ltd

The Public Education Foundation is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to supporting public education and providing financial and other assistance to public school students, teachers and parents. The Foundation doesn't exist to do the job of government and fund core subjects, but to support students with particular educational needs. We focus on removing the barriers to achievement created by social and economic disadvantage or discrimination, and work hard to enhance the value and reputation of public school education.

Beneficiary Group

Students, teachers and parents of students attending public schools in Australia.

Wills and Bequests

A good education could be your greatest gift to the next generation.  Much of our work is funded by the generous bequests people make in their wills.  You can choose to make a general bequest or establish a specific trust.  You can also honour a loved one by establishing a scholarship in their name.

Information about how to make a bequest is available on our website at http://www.publiceducationfoundation.org.au/bequest.htm

You can also download a copy of our Bequest Booklet from our website, phone us on (02) 9266 8681, email us at info@publiceducationfoundation.org.au or talk to your solicitor.

General Donations

Donations over $2 to the Foundation's Scholarship Fund are tax deductible.  You can donate online from our website at http://www.publiceducationfoundation.org.au/donate.htm

You can also download a Donation Form from our website if you would like to make your gift by cheque.

Many donors make regular monthly payments through either direct debit or credit card.

The Foundation ensures that more than 90% of all money donated goes directly to scholarships.
