Wills and Bequests
Over the years, we have been able to help so many people because of the generosity of those who have supported us by leaving a gift in their Will. Bequest funds are vital to the Society and are used to further the assistance and care given to the poor and marginalised, people living with mental illness and struggling families. A gift in your will is a wonderful way to continue to make a difference to the many lives in need long after you’ve gone. However, it is a very personal decision and you should look after your loved ones first. To help you learn more about remembering the Society and how to get your personal affairs in order, the St Vincent de Paul Society has produced two very useful free information booklets, Preparing your Will and Mapping Your Assets.
For a free booklet and for more information on leaving a Bequest to Matthew Talbot Homeless Services, contact Rob Lennon, our Bequest officer, on (02) 9560 8666.

Volunteering
St Vincent de Paul Society is one of Australia’s largest not-for profit organisations responding to grass-roots needs within local communities. The Society is based on Catholic main beliefs but we work with diverse volunteers, both religious and not. In engaging volunteers, we draw on their diverse skills and talents to accomplish our main goal which is to serve disadvantaged people with love, respect, justice and joy by sharing our resources and hope. Our volunteers play an integral role in making this goal a reality. We invite you to find out more and join us! www.vinnies.org.au
