Mission / Objective

Vision: LSC&PH seeks to be a premier youth leadership and development organisation. Mission: Through its many programs and activities, LSC&PH provides unique opportunities for individuals from different backgrounds to develop leadership and personal skills, involving a wide range of people in voluntary service. Values: The values LSC&PH promotes throughout its programs and activities and in the wider community are: * tolerance, teamwork, understanding and fellowship; * trust, care and friendship; * voluntary service to members, community and the nation - allied with the concept of "service without (seeking personal) recognition"; * the concept of "Play the Game".

Projects in Progress

* Capital Works - Improvement of facilities provided at the camp, including provision of heating for winter camps and building of an all-weather sports court. Funds are sought for both. * Programs - Broadening of existing programs which cater for the needs of a wide range of young people including the disadvantaged. The core programs are the week-long January Big Camps. Weekend camps are conducted for children with life-threatening illnesses, young people experiencing physical and intellectual challenges and for young refugees from Africa and Afghanistan. Funding assistance for these programs is sought.
