King's College

Mission / Objective

King's College (within the University of Queensland) was founded in 1912 and provides a safe, comfortable and supportive environment for 270 males. A college with excellent residential, sporting and conference facilities our mission is To foster a dynamic collegiate community in which Kingsmen have the best opportunity to build character through academic, social, personal, moral and spiritual growth. The King's College Foundation was established to raise funds to ensure that King's remains at the forefront residential education in Australia by: - Maintaining, updating and expanding its facilities and property and - Offering a range of funded scholarships and bursaries

Projects in Progress

The King's College Foundation Centenary Building Appeal was launched in March 2008 to specifically raise funds for the design and construction of a new Residential wing (completion 2012), housing an extra 40 students. A number of donation options over 5 years are available. All donations are tax deductible.
