Mission / Objective

"The Housing Connection (THC) provides supported accommodation and transition to work support for 46 adults with a disability. We develop individually tailored programs for adults with a disability to ensure quality outcomes, independence and involvement in their community. e believe that all people, including those who have an intellectual or other disability, are entitled to the same rights, and to access the same opportunities in all areas of life. This means they can have the same choices, involvement in decision making and opportunities to develop their own lifestyles to suit their personality, needs and to enjoy a fulfilling lifestyle!"

Projects in Progress

"Activities:- Training and support to find accommodation, to develop living skills, travelling, financial management, shopping, food planning and preparation, home maintenance, establishing social networks, confidence building, communication and social skills, self advocacy, vocational or pre-vocational support, holidays, recreational and social support etc. identified by a person.Projects:- 'Kickstart' to support families to plan for the future of their adults sons and daughters and to provide options for independent living;"
