Wills and Bequests

Some of the Deaf Society of NSW's services, such as specialist support and services in regional areas, are neither funded nor covered by service fees. We rely on the generous support of people to cover the cost of this vital work for Deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing people. You can help the Deaf Society to continue providing these life-important services by making a donation or a bequest.

General Donations

The Deaf Society of NSW is the major welfare organisation providing support services to the members of the Deaf Community across NSW. Our unique and practical programs and services assist people who are Deaf, deafblind or hard of hearing towards realising their full potential. Donations enable us to provide a range and quality of services that we would not be able to offer without the generous support of our donors.

Other support

The Deaf Society of NSW is constantly seeking project funding and sponsorship for one-off projects, program implementation and provision of specialist needs. Project needs include provision of free interpreting legal situations, one-to-one parent mentoring program, developing life information programs and translating important information intoAuslan. In addition, each year the Deaf Society of NSW hosts a number of community events to promote its and otherorganisations' services, provide information, encourage Deaf awareness to the wider community and seek consultation from the Deaf Community of NSW. Event sponsorship enables the Deaf Society to host events with an increased number of organisations represented and the opportunity to celebrate Deaf pride through entertainment and activities.
